More on potty training and a job for Noah

Well, I think Faith is beginning to get into a routine here at my parents and is wanting to use the potty again. She actually went poo-poo on the toilet yesterday!!! She was just as excited as I was since she got some candy. I went and got her some "Big Girl" panties today to wear when we're just hanging out at our house. Hopefully it will get her in the mode of using the potty all the time and not just some times.
As for Noah's job, no it's not a pastorate job. Last week my Dad was able to get Noah hooked up with a contractor at the mill. So, it's a pretty boring job, but it pays all our bills until we find the church or ministry God wants us in. His day starts at 7am and he watches some guys weld, making sure the roof that they are on does not catch on fire. God is essentially taking care of that for Noah so far. Noah said all the sparks are falling into puddles, but a guy is required for "Fire Watch" even under these circumstances. So, Noah is standing there until 3:30pm with a fire hose and extinguisher, with a couple 15min. breaks and a lunch.
I will keep you all up to date on things going on in our lives as they change.

Moved.....Potty training

Well, we moved down to Albany on Saturday. We're still trying to get settled in to my parents house. (That's where we are staying until we know exactly where Noah will be pastoring.) Noah and I have our bed down in the basement along with our tv, clothes, and anything else we might need while we are here. Faith is sleeping up in my parents room where there is a crib. I think all three of them are enjoying it, for now that is.
As far as potty training goes, Faith went potty in the toilet three times on Friday all on her own will. She took off her diaper and told me she needed to sit on the toilet. Saturday I woke Faith up early so she could get in the shower with Noah so we could get going on our last minute packing. I held her for a few minutes while Noah washed his hair and it gave her some time to wake up. When it was time for me to take her diaper off, it was dry. She had a lot to drink the day before so it was a little concerning to me. (She usually wakes up with a soaking wet diaper.) When she was done with her shower I asked Noah to put her on the toilet to see if she would go. She did!!!! She went and she went and she went and she went. She was excited to receive some chocolate first thing in the morning. It's been hard to keep her focused the last couple of days here at my parents house, to many distractions, so we will see how things go here.

Sorry, It's been awhile!

Sorry, it's been awhile since I last blogged. We've been quite busy getting ready to move, I've just put this on the back burner.
Well, I got the test relsults back and I do not have gestational diabetes!!! I was very excited to find that out. I can still get it, but I would most likely have gotten by now if I was going to get it. I had it at this point in the pregnancy with Faith.
Good news on the potty training with Faith. I've kind of been slacking since the pre-term labor started, but Faith has forced me to put her on the toilet the last couple weeks. She doesn't want to sit on her "potty chair", she wants to sit on the big toilet. She's gone poo-poo and potty on it now by her own will. She will take off her diaper and tell me she wants to sit on the toilet, but most of the time she just sit's there and grunts and soon tells me she's done. (Really nothing has happened.) But the motivation is there. It helped a lot when there were a couple other ladies with small children here last weekend. They would ask their kids if they needed to use the toilet and I noticed that Faith wanted to use the toilet more often since then. So, it may not be long before she's there.
Well, I better get to packing and cleaning. We move tomorrow, so we'll see most of you in Albany on Sunday.
