Doctor Appointment

I had my 16 week Dr. appt. yesterday. We heard the babies heart beat loud and clear. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to hear that now. We will have a thorough ultrasound on the 27th of this month. And NO we will not be finding out the sex of the baby! Although the Dr. did tell us that if it is a boy and his legs are spread we may be able to tell the sex without anyone informing us. So hopefully no legs are spread and the tech doesn't slip. I think I mentioned before that I was having excessive back pain and cramping. The Dr. did say that is not normal this early in the pregnancy (for the back pain) and it's never okay to be cramping like I have been during anytime in the pregnancy. So they are checking on a possible bacteria in the bladder, and at the ultrasound they are going to check the placement of the placenta. (Possible placenta previa.) The Dr. did say it could just be me and this pregnancy, but it's definitly something that should be looked into. (Especially since I've had a miscarriage.)
