Finally I get a chance to blog!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple weeks. A couple weeks ago Noah and I were in Salem for a Baptist convention. (We got some alone time and got to eat out for free. I like those kind of dates.) Then we went to Albany for a few days and was able to catch up with some friends. By the time we got home it seemed like we had just enough time to do laundry and pack up again to head back to Albany for Thanksgiving. I have to tell you though, it was very nice to visit with old friends and family.
New news, Faith is beginning to repeat words and phrases now. We were watching something on TV and a commercial came on with some girl showing a lot of cleavage. Noah told Faith that if she ever showed that much cleavage when she was older he would "Kill you" (He was joking of course.) Then Faith said "kill you." She was also pretending to smoke when we were on our way down to Albany. We're not sure where she picked that one up. She must have seen someone doing it. (It's not us, I promise.)
I had my first ultrasound today and everything looked good. We did not find out the sex of the baby, but I think it's probably a boy. (I haven't had a gut feeling with this one like I did with Faith and the last baby, but as time goes on I feel like it's a boy.) We will see in April I guess. The babies heart rate was 147 and it is about 11 ounces which is normal at this time. (They should be about 12 ounces at 18weeks.) This baby is a little bigger than Faith was at this time, but Faith was a little small for how far along I was at the time of the ultrasound. She caught up and weighed 8lb 10oz at birth and was 9 days early. I just hope this baby grows at a normal rate all the way through the pregnancy. It would be nice if I didn't get diabetes again too.
Well I better go, Faith has been really fussy today. I think she may be getting sick with the flu. I had it last week and Noah has been feeling a little icky the last couple of days.
